Workspaces and projects
See How your data is organized for what each one is.
Your first workspace
Click Sign In to Continue on Teramot’s home page. The first time, Teramot asks How should we call you?: the Username you choose is what other members see. Your sign-in needs a verified email address.
Then a guided setup walks you through three steps — Workspace, Project and Data: name the workspace and pick your industry, create a project (optionally telling the agent What would you like to answer first?), and connect a source. The industry and your first question are saved to the workspace and project knowledge, so the agent starts with that context. You can choose Do this later at any step.
A First steps checklist then stays in the bottom-right corner until you finish it or close it with Close guide.
Workspaces
Where: the Workspaces page is where you land after signing in. From inside a project, click the workspace name at the start of the breadcrumb (it opens Projects), then click it again. Create New Workspace is at the top right of the page and does not appear while you already belong to a Free workspace, even one whose free trial has ended. Each card’s More actions (⋯) menu is at its top right corner. From 1 November 2026 a Free workspace’s card says when its trial ends, or that it starts with your first connection.
On the Workspaces page:
- Create New Workspace — a Name (2 to 255 characters, without “/”) and a Color, then optionally Add Members. You become its Owner. From 1 November 2026 a Free workspace starts a 30-day free trial with its first source or file. You can belong to only one Free workspace.
- The More actions menu of each workspace card has Add members, Update, Delete and Leave workspace.
- Deleting a workspace (Owner only) permanently deletes every project and all data in it. Type the workspace name to confirm.
Projects
Where: click a workspace card on the Workspaces page, or, from inside a project, the workspace name at the start of the breadcrumb. Create New Project is at the top right of the page (also the Add new project tile after the last card), greyed out for roles that cannot create projects. A project card’s ⋯ menu, at the top right of the card, holds Add Members, Delete and Leave project, the first two greyed out for roles that cannot use them; Open is at the bottom of the card, and clicking anywhere on the card opens the project.
On the Projects page of a workspace:
- Create New Project (Admin) — a Project Name, unique in the workspace.
- Each project card has Open, Add Members, Delete and Leave project.
- The search box finds any project of the workspace by name, and Load more, after the last card, shows the next ones.
- Deleting a project (Owner only) permanently deletes its sources, tables, results tables and dashboards. Type the project name to confirm.
A card with a System badge is a project Teramot keeps for you, such as Workspace Insights: only Owners and Admins see it, and nobody can change or delete it.
Links you copy from the app carry the workspace and project, so whoever opens them lands in the same place — provided they are a member.
