Refresh your data

Refreshing reloads data from your sources and rebuilds the tables built on it, including results tables. Refreshing and scheduling need the Admin role; anyone can see the history.

When a source finishes refreshing, the alerts that read its tables are checked — see Alerts and refreshes.

The Workspace Insights project has no sources to refresh: Teramot adds the day before to it every morning.

Refresh now

Where: Sources in the sidebar → click the source’s card → Refresh (a tab of the Configure Source panel that opens).

Open the source and go to its Refresh tab:

  • Full Refresh → Trigger Full Refresh reloads every table of the source.
  • Partial Refresh → Trigger Partial Refresh reloads only the tables you select. Type in Search tables to narrow the list by name.

Each table reloads the way it is configured, so a table on incremental refresh loads only what changed. To read its tables in full instead, tick Re-read from scratch at the top of the tab before you trigger the refresh. It applies to that one refresh: the tables keep their incremental settings, and the box clears once the refresh starts.

Refresh on a schedule

Where: Operations → Cron Refresh in the sidebar. The schedule form is the Cron Refresh section at the top of the page. The item is greyed out if your role doesn’t allow it.

Open Cron Refresh in the sidebar. The schedule applies to the whole project: each run refreshes all its sources. Until you set one up, sources refresh only when you run them manually.

  1. Turn on Enable schedule.
  2. In Easy mode, choose the Frequency:
    • Hourly — every N hours (Interval (hours), 1 to 23).
    • Daily — at the Time you choose.
    • Weekly — on Mondays, at the Time you choose.
    • Monthly — on the 1st, at the Time you choose.
  3. Choose the Timezone and Save.

Advanced mode takes a cron expression, with presets such as Every 6 hours or Weekdays 09:00. It is included on the Custom plan; on other plans the field shows locked. A schedule can run at most once per hour, and cannot set both a day of the month and a day of the week.

Turning Enable schedule off stops automatic refreshes; Remove schedule deletes it.

Refresh history

Where: Operations → Cron Refresh in the sidebar → the Refresh History section, below the schedule. View errors is the red warning icon at the end of a failed run’s row.

Cron Refresh also shows the Refresh History: each run’s date, type (Full, Partial or Scheduled), tables and status (In progress, Success or Failed). View errors opens the details of a failed run, grouped as Permission denied, Invalid credentials, Connection problem, Configuration problem or Internal error, with how to fix each one.

Incremental refresh

Where: when adding a source, the Select tables step; later, Sources in the sidebar → click the source’s card → Incremental (a tab of the Configure Source panel, shown only for connectors that support incremental loads).

By default each refresh loads a table in full. With incremental refresh, a refresh loads only what changed. Set it per table when choosing tables for a source (Incremental refresh (optional)) or later in the source’s Incremental tab. It is included from the Growth plan; on other plans the tab shows the tables locked.
