Presentations
A presentation is a deck (Deck 16:9) or a report (Report A4) built over your results tables. It is saved once and rendered again whenever you need it: the pages stay the same and every number comes from the data. Find decks under Presentations in the sidebar, right below Dashboards, and reports under Documents, right below Presentations. One whose queries use the month renders for the Month you pick. One whose queries name no month, such as a table explained or today’s values, has no Month: Generate renders it over the data as it is now.
Create one
Where: a connected assistant. While the project has none, the page says No presentations yet, and Connect Claude opens the Connect AI page.
Presentations are written by an AI assistant: ask Claude, ChatGPT or another connected assistant for one from your results tables — for example “build a monthly committee deck with sales, the trend of the last twelve months and the top branches”. Before saving, the assistant can render it in the chat and see an image of every page, including the ones whose content does not fit, so it can fix them first. Saving and editing presentations needs the Analyst role.
To change a saved presentation, ask the assistant in plain language: “shorten the title of page 3”, “show the conclusion after the chart, and slower”, “don’t animate the table”. Each change is saved as a new version.
The assistant can also limit a presentation to a minimum role; people below that role do not see it. Your plan sets how many presentations a workspace can have — see Plans and limits. Once a workspace’s free trial has ended, new presentations wait for a plan, and an empty page offers the plans instead of the agent.
Your brand
Presentations print in your workspace’s brand: your colours, your fonts and your logo beside Teramot’s on every page. Until you set one, they keep Teramot’s look. Setting the brand needs the Admin role.
Ask the assistant to take it from your website — “use the brand of www.example.com”. It shows you the colours, fonts and logo it found, and saves them once you confirm. Your fonts print as your own:
- Open fonts, such as those from Google Fonts, are taken from the web.
- Fonts your website hosts itself are taken once you confirm you hold a licence that covers your documents.
- Fonts from Adobe Fonts or Monotype, or fonts installed on your computers, are not taken from the web: send the assistant your font files.
A white logo prints on a block of your main colour, so it stays visible on light pages.
The cover is drawn from your brand: the symbol of your logo, large and in your main colour’s tones, with figures that follow the corners of your website’s buttons — round, rounded or square — in your accent colour. A presentation without a brand carries Teramot’s.
A chart that compares categories, such as a donut’s slices, draws the first in your main colour, the second in your accent colour and the third in a light shade of your main colour, so slices side by side never look alike. Without an accent colour, the light shade comes second.
Render it for a month
Where: Presentations → a presentation in the list on the left → Month and Render, below its title.
Pick a Month (the last thirteen are offered, and the previous one is selected) and click Render, which needs the Analyst role. Every query runs over your data as it is now, for that month. The result shows below, with what the render checked:
- how many pages it printed and how many rows each query returned;
- for each sentence, whether every number in it, in digits or in words and with its unit (an amount in $ must be an amount, a number in % a percentage), and every month it names matched the data. Teramot writes each sentence from that month’s data, the same way your assistant did when it built the presentation. A sentence that does not match is never printed: a fixed sentence built from the data takes its place.
A month your data does not reach yet still renders: a number it has no value for shows a dash (—), and a chart with no rows says Sin datos para that month (No data for in English).
The last page of every render lists where the numbers come from: the results tables each query reads and the date of their data. A table with no known date shows a dash.
A share chart shows the largest categories and groups the rest in one last slice, named Otros in Spanish and Other in English. When your data already has a category of that name, the rest is added to it, so it appears once.
After a render, Download PDF, Present and Open in a new tab appear next to Render. The links work for a while — Links valid until… says until when — and after that you open it again from Generated PDFs, or render it again.
Generated PDFs
Where: Generated PDFs, below Render.
Every render of a saved presentation is kept. Generated PDFs lists the last 50, newest first: the month it was rendered for, or the day it was generated when it has no month, the version it rendered, its pages and how many fixed sentences took the place of ones that did not match. View opens the page and its PDF exactly as they were rendered, and Download PDF downloads it, without running any query, for anyone in the project who can see the presentation; it needs no Analyst role. To see a month with today’s data, render it again.
Present
Where: Present, next to Render, after a render.
Present shows the presentation full screen, one page at a time, like a slide show:
- The right and down arrows, Space, Enter and Page Down move forward; the left and up arrows, Page Up and Backspace move back. A presentation clicker works the same way.
- Home and End jump to the first and the last page.
- A click on the right side of the page moves forward, and on the left side, back.
- F turns full screen on and off without leaving the presentation.
- Esc ends it. The page counter and the controls hide while the mouse is still.
On screen, the pages of a deck move as they appear: titles reveal, blocks come in in order, lines draw and bars grow. The PDF, and anything printed, shows every page in its final state. Reports do not move, and nothing moves when your system is set to reduce motion.
Versions
Where: Versions, below the render.
Every save is a version. Versions lists them, newest first, with who wrote each one and its note; Current marks the one that renders.
Restore, next to an earlier version, makes it the one that renders again. It needs the Analyst role. The restored content is saved as a new version, written In the app, so the versions in between are kept and you can go back to any of them the same way.
Your brand
Where: a connected assistant; there is no screen for it in the app.
Presentations print in your workspace’s brand: your logo beside the Teramot logo on every page, up to four colours (the cover and the main highlights, an accent, the text and the paper), the fonts for titles and for text (Inter or Manrope) and a footer line such as Confidential. Ask your assistant to read the brand from your own files, such as your logo and style guide, and set it. Setting it needs the Admin role, and it applies to every presentation of the workspace from the next render. A workspace that never set a brand prints in Teramot’s look.
Settings and delete
Where: Settings and Delete, at the top right of the presentation’s header.
Settings changes the Title and the Status: Draft, Live or Archived. Held means a table it reads is out of date; it is released when the data refreshes, and it cannot be set by hand. Changing settings needs the Analyst role.
Delete removes the presentation and its versions for everyone in the project, and its generated PDFs can no longer be opened; their kept copies are erased when the project is deleted. It needs the Admin role.
