Dashboards
A dashboard presents one or more results tables as charts and figures. Find them under Dashboards in the sidebar.
Create one
Where: Dashboards in the sidebar → Create dashboard, at the top right of the page. It opens the Connect AI page; it is greyed out when your plan has no room for another dashboard.
Dashboards are written by an AI assistant: ask a connected assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT, or the agent in the app, to create one from your results tables — for example “create a dashboard of monthly sales by region”. It can show you a preview in the chat before saving it. Creating and editing dashboards needs the Analyst role.
Saving a dashboard, or changing its query or the results tables it reads, runs that query first. If it fails — for example because it reads a column its results table does not have — nothing is saved, and the assistant is told why so it can fix the query.
Your plan sets how many dashboards a workspace can have — see Plans and limits. Once a workspace’s free trial has ended, Create dashboard is disabled and every dashboard stays blurred under Your free trial has ended until you choose a plan.
View and refresh
Where: Dashboards → a dashboard in the list on the left. Updated is under its title; Refresh, Versions, Copy link and Maximize (the expand icon) are at the right of the dashboard’s header bar.
- The data is a snapshot that Teramot refreshes on a schedule. Updated shows when; Refresh updates it now.
- Last refresh failed means the latest update did not complete. The dashboard keeps showing the data from its last successful update. When its own query failed, for example because a table or column it reads no longer exists, the scheduled refresh retries it once a day. Refresh tries again now; after you edit the dashboard, the next scheduled refresh tries it.
- When a results table changes and no longer has a column the dashboard reads, the dashboard names that column. Restore an earlier version (below) or ask the assistant to update the dashboard to the table’s new columns.
- Partial rows means the result has more rows than the dashboard first loads, so lists and charts show its first rows. Totals and counts are still computed over every row. Below the dashboard, Showing N of M rows says how many are loaded; Load more rows adds the next ones. When the button is replaced by More rows can be loaded after the dashboard is next refreshed, Refresh makes the rest available again.
- Maximize shows the dashboard full screen.
Versions
Where: Versions, at the right of the dashboard’s header bar. It opens the list of the dashboard’s versions, newest first; Current marks the one shown now.
Every change to a dashboard’s title, content or query is kept as a new version. Restore saves an earlier version as the newest one, so a restore can itself be undone. A version whose query no longer runs — because its results table changed since — is not restored; ask the assistant to adapt it instead. Restoring needs the Analyst role.
Share
Copy link copies a link to the dashboard. Only people in the workspace can open it; anyone else sees This dashboard is private.
Admins can set each dashboard’s visibility — the minimum role that can see it: All roles, Analysts+ or Admins+. People below that role do not see the dashboard at all. Where: the selector with a lock icon, at the right of the dashboard’s header bar, left of Refresh; only Admins and Owners see it.
Delete
Where: Dashboards → select the dashboard → Delete, at the top right of the page next to Create dashboard. Only Admins and Owners see it.
Admins can Delete a dashboard. Anyone who had its link loses access. A dashboard is also deleted when a results table it is built on is deleted.
The dashboard of the Workspace Insights project cannot be edited or deleted: Teramot keeps it up to date.
