Plans and limits

Each workspace has a plan: Free, Starter, Growth, Enterprise, or a Custom plan agreed with Teramot. From 1 November 2026, Free becomes a 30-day free trial of everything it includes, which starts when you connect your first source or file, and the app calls it Free trial.

See what your plan includes

Where: Administration → Billing in the sidebar. Manage Subscription is at the right of the Current Plan card and appears only on a paid plan billed through Stripe; Available Plans is below that card.

Open Billing in the sidebar. Current Plan shows the plan, its status (Active or Expired; on a trial, how many days are left), how many seats are in use, and a This includes list — for example the number of results tables (listed as Gold Tables), source tables and dashboards, whether incremental refresh and a custom refresh schedule are included, storage, and the MCP Connector for AI assistants.

Anyone in the workspace can see this page. Changing the plan or opening Manage Subscription needs the Admin role. Available Plans lists the plans you can move to.

The free trial

From 1 November 2026, a new workspace comes with a 30-day free trial of everything Free includes: data sources, results tables, one dashboard, one presentation, the agent and the MCP Connector. No card is needed, and there is one trial per person: a workspace you create after your trial keeps that trial’s end date, even if the first workspace was deleted. The 30 days start when you connect your first source or file, not when you create the workspace; until then Billing says the trial has not started. A workspace that already has a source on 1 November gets its 30 days from that day. Until then Free is a plan to stay on, and the app says nothing about a trial.

You can see when it ends in three places. Once your first source or file is connected, a banner at the top of the workspace and project pages explains the trial and dates its end (Free trial · 12 days left). You can close it; a small clock then stays in the top bar with the days left, and hovering it repeats the explanation. The banner comes back once, over the last three days and again when the trial ends; the first two can be closed, the last one stays. The Current Plan card on Billing and the workspace card on the Workspaces page show the same date.

When the trial ends, your data stays. You can still open every table, look at its rows and download it, and delete what you no longer want; your AI assistant can still read your tables through the MCP Connector too, as they stood when the trial ended. Everything else waits for a plan: adding a source or a file, refreshing, building a results table, asking the agent, and the dashboards, which stay blurred under a note that says so. Each of those actions, and the banner, says the same thing: Your free trial has ended. Choose a plan to keep working with your data. The banner stays until you choose a plan, the workspace name in the sidebar reads Trial ended, Billing lists what still works instead of the plan’s limits, and an empty Dashboards, Data Studio or Presentations page offers the plans rather than the agent. Choosing a plan on Billing brings everything back as it was.

Subscribe through AWS Marketplace

Where: the link AWS Marketplace shows once you have subscribed to Teramot there.

The link brings you to Teramot to finish setting up. Sign in, or create your account, and Teramot creates a workspace named My Workspace on the plan you bought. If that subscription already belongs to a workspace you are a member of, it gets the plan instead, so following the link again never creates a second one. The link is valid for four hours.

MessageWhat to do
This marketplace session has expired…Go back to AWS Marketplace and follow the link to Teramot again.
This marketplace session was already used…The subscription is already linked to a workspace. If you don’t see it, or its plan, write to support@teramot.com.

Any other message says what to do: return to AWS Marketplace and try again, or write to support@teramot.com.

What happens at a limit

When an action would go past your plan, Teramot refuses it and says why. A feature your plan does not include stays visible but locked, with a note naming the plan that includes it and, if you can see billing, a View plans link to Billing:

LimitWhat you see
Results tablesYour plan’s results table limit has been reached. The Free plan includes 5 per workspace. Changing the SQL of a results table you already have does not count against it, though it is refused like adding one while storage or processing is paused.
DashboardsDashboards are not included in your plan — upgrade to create one. or Your plan includes up to N dashboards per workspace. Growth includes unlimited dashboards… Restoring an earlier version of a dashboard is an edit and never counts against the limit.
PresentationsPresentations aren’t included in your plan. or Your plan allows N presentations. Delete one or upgrade to add more. Free and Starter include one presentation, Growth ten. New presentation is disabled with that note, and an assistant asked to save one past the limit is told the same. Rendering a presentation for another month is never limited.
Incremental refreshIncremental refresh is included from Growth… Tables already set to load incrementally keep doing so.
Custom refresh scheduleCustom cron expressions are included on the Custom plan… The Easy schedule options work on every plan.
Source tablesYour plan allows N tables; with this selection your organization would have M. Remove X tables, upgrade your plan or talk to sales. The count is the selected tables of every published source in every project of your organization. An organization already past the limit keeps refreshing and can remove tables, but cannot add any. The note links to Upgrade plan and Talk to sales. When the refusal is a notification instead — publishing several sources at once, replacing a file, or the agent’s card — it links to View plans, or to Talk to sales if you can’t see billing.
StorageYour organization has reached the N GB of storage its plan includes (M GB in use). Upgrade your plan or delete data to keep bringing data in. Storage is the data your organization keeps, across all its workspaces. At the limit you can’t add data; queries keep working, and deleting data frees space. Well past the limit, refreshes pause too.
ProcessingYour organization has used M GB of the N GB of processing its plan includes this month. It frees up on November 1, or upgrade your plan to continue now. Processing is counted per calendar month (UTC) and frees up on the 1st. Well past the plan, queries pause too.
AlertsThis plan does not include alert checks — upgrade to use alerts when your plan includes none, or This plan evaluates an alert at most N times a day… when an alert’s schedule would check it more often. A plan can also cap how many alerts a workspace has.
Free trial endedYour free trial has ended. Choose a plan to keep working with your data. Viewing and downloading tables keeps working; see The free trial.
Free workspacesYou already belong to a Free workspace, and Free allows one per person. Upgrade that one, or start the new workspace on a paid plan. An ended free trial still counts as that one workspace.
MembersYou’ve reached the member limit for your plan. Starter and Growth let you invite more people. On a plan agreed with Teramot, the note says to Contact support to extend it.

While storage or processing has something paused, a banner at the top of a project’s pages says what is paused and how to continue. The free-trial banner sits above it until you close it, or until you choose a plan once the trial ended.

The results tables and the dashboard of the Workspace Insights project do not count toward your plan’s limits.

Seats

Where: the confirmation opens when you click Add on a workspace’s Add Members page (see Inviting members); accept it with Add and buy the seat.

Your plan includes a number of seats. Adding someone beyond them asks you to confirm a billed seat (This seat is billed):

  • An extra seat costs USD 10/month, charged in full when you add it, whatever the day of the month.
  • It renews each month while someone uses it. If it is free when the plan renews, it is removed from the invoice automatically. Removed seats are not refunded.
  • Only an Owner can accept a billed seat, and only from the workspace — a project invitation never adds one.

Switching to a plan with fewer seats than the people in the workspace charges the difference as extra seats. To avoid that, remove people before changing the plan.
