Changelog

New features, improvements and fixes in each Teramot release.

v5.19.0

Improvements

  • Need attention replaces With errors on Sources. The counters above Sources now count a source that syncs but has tables that failed or went missing, and say how many of them are not syncing at all.
  • A source's dot warns when its tables fail. A source that keeps syncing while some of its tables failed or went missing now shows an amber dot instead of a green one, and hovering the dot names the state.
  • Failed tables say where they failed. Each source card lists its failed, older-data and empty tables and the results tables being rebuilt from it, and a failed table says whether it failed while extracting or processing.
  • Each source says what went wrong, and how to fix it. A source that needs a look says what happened on its card, for example that Teramot can't connect to it, and opens the details with the likely cause and a button for the fix.

Fixes

  • Workspace names take dots, accents and &. A company name such as Acme S.A. or Pérez & Hijos no longer leaves Continue or Create workspace disabled, and the step says in red when the name is what blocks you.

v5.18.0

Improvements

  • Data Egress walks you through ODBC setup. Connection data lists every value under the driver's own labels with a copy button, and Copy all fields sends someone everything they need to read your tables from Excel.

Fixes

  • SAP HANA sources connect. Testing the connection, discovering tables and ingesting data from a SAP HANA source now work instead of failing with an internal error.
  • A source name already in use is caught sooner. A name the project already uses is flagged before Test Connection looks for tables, and a free one is offered; reusing the name of an unfinished setup replaces that setup.
  • File uploads no longer fail on a taken name. The source name is checked before your files upload and the panel offers a free one; if the name is taken mid-upload, the source is created under the suggested name.
  • Project members get access in Data Egress. User Management lists the project's members, so someone added only to this project can be activated and given its tables without gaining access to the rest of the workspace.

v5.17.0

Improvements

  • Pick where Tango history starts. A Tango source takes an optional "Read history from" date, and live queries read from there onward. Left empty, each query keeps its default period in Tango.

Fixes

  • Repeated file names no longer overwrite by surprise. Uploading a file whose name is already in the project shows you which source holds it and waits until you choose Replace, Skip or Rename for each one.
  • Microsoft 365 Copilot sees every Teramot tool. Copilot now reaches the whole tool list, including listing workspaces and projects, previewing tables and querying your data, which it used to stop short of.

v5.16.0

Improvements

  • Test Connection checks the name first. A source name already in use is refused right away, with a free name suggested, instead of after the wait; the button then reads "Discovering tables…" until the tables are found.
  • Heavy queries keep running for your assistant. A long query asked through Claude, Gemini or another assistant keeps running for a few minutes while the assistant waits, and a results table is suggested only if it still does not finish.

Fixes

  • A name already in use is flagged on the field. Creating a source under a name the project already uses flags the name field and offers a free name in one click, and no longer overwrites the credentials of the source that has that name.
  • Single-table sources keep their name. A source with one table now appears under its source name in Data Studio, like sources with several tables.
  • Loaded tables open with their data. Opening a table that has already loaded in Data Studio shows its data, instead of saying it is still processing.
  • Large tables open in Preview. Opening a large table in Data Studio no longer fails after a few minutes: the Preview tab returns at most 100,000 rows.
  • Connect database opens without flashing. New source then Connect database no longer flashes the panel closed and open again, and opening or closing it keeps your workspace and project in the address.
  • The connection form stays filled as it closes. Closing the database connection panel no longer empties the form while the panel is still fading out.
  • Session renewal no longer interrupts you. Renewing your session in the background keeps you on the page you are on, and a half-filled form, such as a new connection, keeps what you typed.
  • Test Connection stays busy until it finishes. Test Connection shows it is working from the moment you press it until the tables are found, instead of flicking back to idle in between.
  • Retrying a connection keeps the error in view. Retrying Test Connection leaves the last error in place until the new result arrives, instead of the error vanishing and coming back while the form jumps.
  • Screens change without a blink. Opening the new-source wizard, moving between its steps and the other transitions in the app no longer blink at the end of the animation.
  • Shared tables show without an empty flash. Data Sources waits for the tables shared with the project, so a project with shared tables and no sources of its own no longer flashes the "connect your data" screen first.

v5.13.0

Improvements

  • Check a source for new or missing tables. The circular-arrow button on a source card now checks for table changes and opens the source on its tables, marking the new ones and the ones the source no longer returns.

Fixes

  • Sources show as syncing right away. After Save & Publish or a refresh, the source's card shows it is syncing until the run starts and finishes, instead of reading as up to date while the change is picked up.

v5.12.0

Action needed

  • Free becomes a 30-day trial on 1 November 2026. From that day Free runs 30 days from your first data source; after it ends your tables stay readable and downloadable, but new sources, refreshes and the agent need a plan.

Improvements

  • Your free trial, visible where it matters. From 1 November a banner and a clock in the header count down your 30 days, and once the trial ends Teramot shows what still works and where to choose a plan.

Fixes

  • Chart slices in your brand are easier to tell apart. In donut and stacked bar charts the second slice now takes your accent colour and the third a light shade of your main one, so dark brands no longer blend two slices into one.

v5.9.0

Improvements

  • Dashboard version history. Open Versions on a dashboard to see every edit and restore an earlier one; one missing a column now names it and keeps showing its last good data.
  • A warning before an edit breaks a dashboard. Editing a results table's instructions or source tables now shows, above Update, which connected dashboards may stop working.
  • SQL edits from an assistant ask before breaking things. When new SQL drops columns a dashboard, alert or presentation still uses, the assistant names each one, applies the edit only once you confirm, then moves them over.

Agent

  • Assistants can undo a dashboard edit. An assistant can list a dashboard's versions, read an older one and restore it; a dashboard whose query fails is not saved, and the assistant is told which column is missing.

Security

  • Alerts sent outside the workspace notify admins. When an alert starts sending to an email outside the workspace or to a Slack webhook, the workspace owner and admins get an email saying who changed it and where it now sends.
  • Alerts need your go-ahead from an assistant. Saving or running an alert through an assistant is now marked as sending data outside Teramot, so an assistant that supports confirmations asks you first.

Fixes

  • Dashboards are checked before they save. Saving a dashboard runs its query first, so one that fails against its results table is refused instead of saved, and a new dashboard shows data right away.
  • Table counts and freshness match what happened. A table whose refresh timed out now counts as failed in your project totals, and a results table that failed to build no longer looks freshly updated.
  • Sources with many tables start correctly. Creating a data source with a large number of tables no longer fails, so its ingestion starts as it should.

v5.8.0

Improvements

  • Teramot Agent is open to everyone. The Agent tab opens Teramot Agent inside the app, with your conversations on the left and two models to pick from, Teramot Lite and Teramot Power.

Fixes

  • Paging through results no longer repeats rows. Every page now reads a single run of the query, so no row shows up twice or goes missing, and moving to the next page is faster.
  • An empty table no longer marks a source as failed. A source whose tables all loaded is no longer shown as Partial failure when one came back with no rows; the card still lists the empty tables.

v5.7.0

Improvements

  • Restore an earlier version of a presentation. Every earlier version in a presentation's Versions list has a Restore button that saves it again as the newest, so nothing in between is lost. Analysts only.
  • See which presentations use a results table. Deleting a results table names the presentations that read it; they are not deleted with it, but cannot be rendered until a results table with that name exists again.

Fixes

  • Presentations render even when a month has no data. A month your data does not reach yet still renders: a missing value shows a dash, and a chart with no rows keeps its place and says there is no data for that month.

v5.6.0

Improvements

  • Alert emails are easier to read. An alert email without a template now arrives formatted like the monthly report: a clear heading, readable column names and a table that scrolls sideways when wide.
  • Search your tables in Partial Refresh. Partial Refresh has a table search, with Trigger Partial Refresh beside it, and a table the search hides stays selected and still counts.

Agent

  • Presentations explain the numbers in words. Each month's presentation now gets sentences written from its own data, and they print only when every number and month in them matches that data.

Fixes

  • Presentation links survive an update. A presentation's view and PDF links keep working while Teramot updates, and a month rendered from a saved presentation now opens from its stored copy.
  • More assistants can load Teramot's tools. Assistants such as Microsoft Copilot Studio now load Teramot's tools after signing in, instead of connecting and finding none.

v5.5.1

Fixes

  • Uploads, connections and refreshes work again. In a project you had opened from its card, uploading a file, connecting a database, refreshing data and saving a refresh schedule all work again.

v5.5.0

Agent

  • Assistants edit a results table with SQL. Asking an assistant to change what a results table computes rebuilds it from the SQL it wrote, verbatim, and each edit counts as one regeneration on your plan.

Fixes

  • Presentation text checked against your data. Numbers written in words, shares like "la mitad" and the months a sentence names are checked against the data, and a sentence that does not match is corrected.
  • Connecting a database from a project card works. Opening a project from its card on Projects and then adding a database no longer ends in "Unexpected error" after the connection test passes.
  • Only the tables that failed are marked as failed. In Data Studio, a source with some failed tables keeps the rest ready, both in the table list and in the query editor.

v5.4.0

Improvements

  • Presentations. Ask Claude, ChatGPT or another connected assistant for a deck or A4 report over your results tables, present it full screen, and download the PDF.

v5.1.0

Improvements

  • Data Studio: your tables in a sidebar. A resizable list on the left holds your cleaned tables by source, tables shared by other projects, and your results tables with their status, plus a search box.

v5.0.0

Action needed

  • Table selection applies as you save it. Choosing which tables a source brings in now takes effect in the same call, so a script, the CLI or an assistant no longer needs a separate publish step.

Improvements

  • Refreshes on the Alerts page. The Alerts page shows the project's next refreshes and explains when each alert sees new data, and the alert form repeats the cadence next to the trigger.
  • Re-read a source from scratch, once. A source can read its tables in full on the next refresh; tables set to refresh incrementally keep that setting and go back to it afterwards.
  • A clearer Monthly report. The report and its email settings are now separate tabs, each month opens with a health score and the AI summary, and the most urgent checks come first.

Fixes

  • Incremental settings stay on your other tables. Saving one table's incremental settings no longer switches incremental updates off for the source's other tables.
  • A source keeps showing why it was refused. Retrying, refreshing or checking a source no longer clears the reason it was refused, so you can still see what to fix.
  • Results tables use the project's current knowledge. Regenerating a results table, or changing the tables it is built from, now uses the project's knowledge as it is today instead of as it was when the table was created.

v4.14.0

Fixes

  • Access keys with symbols in the name delete again. An access key whose name contains a colon, an @ or a plus sign can be deleted again.
  • Your AI assistant stays signed in. Teramot connected to Claude, Gemini or another assistant stays signed in instead of asking you to sign in again every hour.

v4.13.1

Fixes

  • New sources go on to choosing their tables. Connecting a data source moves straight on to picking which tables to bring in, instead of stopping at the last step without creating the source.

v4.13.0

Action needed

  • Alert email from its own address. Alerts set up under Operations can arrive from their own address, with replies going to a real inbox and an unsubscribe control, so mail rules matching the old sender need updating.

Agent

  • Sources that would create a loop are greyed out. When you edit a results table, the source tables that would create a loop are greyed out with a hint explaining why, so you are not offered a choice that would be refused.

Fixes

  • Circular sources are refused, not saved. Adding a source that already reads from your results table is refused, and the message names the table to remove instead of saving a table that cannot build.
  • Clearer errors when a member cannot be removed. Removing someone from a workspace or project now says why it did not work: your role is not enough, they are not a member, or they are the last owner.
  • Manage Subscription opens the billing portal again. Manage Subscription on the Billing page opens the Stripe portal again instead of doing nothing, and a failure generating or deleting an MCP access key is now reported.
  • API key errors on the MCP page are shown. Turning a project API key on or off, or deleting it, now tells you when it fails, and a dashboard total with no distinct count no longer shows the word null.

v4.12.0

Improvements

  • Tango connection form matches the Tango API. Connecting Tango asks for the API token, the company id and, if you need them, extra processes.

Changes

  • Every alert shows when it last sent. The Alerts list shows the last time a digest or an incident notice went out, not only for threshold alerts.
  • Alerts page under Operations. See each alert with its mode, trigger, recipients and state; create or edit one with a dry run, run it now, pause, resume or remove it, and read what each check sent.

Fixes

  • Refresh status on tables built from one source twice. A results table built from two tables of the same data source now shows its refresh status, failures included, instead of keeping the previous one.
  • Assistants start in the project you were invited to. If you have access to a single project, Claude, Gemini or another assistant now starts there instead of picking one you cannot open.

v4.11.0

Fixes

  • Scheduled alerts send in full. A scheduled alert with a long query or a large result now finishes sending instead of being cut off partway, and it no longer arrives twice.
  • Shared tables show up for AI assistants. A project that only uses tables shared from other projects no longer looks empty to Claude, Gemini or another assistant, which can now list and read those tables.

v4.10.1

Fixes

  • Every project you belong to is in the list. A project you were invited to shows up in the workspace's project list however many projects come before it, and you can search the list by name.
  • The agent opens in a project you were invited to. If you were invited to just one project, you can open the agent there and read or continue the conversations shared in it.
  • More than 20 projects or members, all visible. Large workspaces now show every project and member: the list and the switcher load more as you go, search as you type, and a link to a project opens it.
  • Slow query fixes finish instead of failing. Fixing a processed table's query from an AI assistant no longer fails when it takes over a minute: the assistant tells you it is still working and picks up the result.

v4.10.0

Changes

  • Your plan's table limit is enforced. Publishing a source, saving its tables or creating one stops when your organization would go past the number of tables your plan includes.
  • See how many of your plan's tables you use. Table selection shows how many of your plan's tables your organization would use and stops you at the cap, offering to upgrade or talk to sales.

Fixes

  • Alert emails read the way they should. An alert with its own intro no longer gets a preview note under it, the mail only says rows were left out when they were, and an empty cell shows a dash.
  • Set an alert's priority from your assistant. Alerts you create or test through Claude, Gemini or another assistant now take a priority, so they arrive with the right colour and priority line.

v4.9.0

Improvements

  • Alert emails in your own words and style. An alert can carry its own description, intro and footer, and a card layout with a coloured header in your brand colour or the colour of its severity.
  • SAP RFC reaches systems closed to the internet. An SAP RFC source that points at an application server can connect through a private connection; a source that uses a logon group is not supported.
  • Connect Teramot to Microsoft 365 Copilot. Connect AI has a Microsoft 365 Copilot card with the registration and connector values the Microsoft forms ask for.

Changes

  • Several tables in one alert, and fuller CSVs. A digest alert can add further queries as their own tables in the same email, each with its own CSV, and an attached CSV can hold up to 50,000 rows.
  • Tango (Axoft) is available as a data source. You can connect Tango, Axoft's ERP, as a data source.
  • The agent can set the new alert options. Ask the agent to create or change an alert and it can set the description, intro, footer, layout, brand colour, extra tables and how many rows the CSV holds.

v4.8.0

Improvements

  • Dashboards open faster, with more rows on demand. A dashboard opens on its first 1,000 rows and "Load more rows" brings in 5,000 at a time, while totals, averages and counts stay exact over the whole result.

Agent

  • Ask the agent how to use Teramot. The agent, and assistants like Claude or ChatGPT, now answer questions about using Teramot from the documentation, in English or Spanish, with a link to each page.

Changes

  • Alerts you set up just by asking. Ask the agent to tell you when something happens and it saves the alert — a result at a set time, rows that are new, or a number crossing a line — sent by email or Slack.

Fixes

  • Tables shared from another project are back. Tables and results another project shares with yours appear again on Data Sources and in the Data Studio pipeline, each marked with the project it comes from.
  • Failed tables no longer appear mid-processing. While a source is being processed again, the failed-tables label waits until it finishes and then shows only the tables that failed this time.
  • Claude and ChatGPT apply your business rules. Your project and workspace rules now come back with every project result, so a connected assistant has them in full before it writes any SQL.

v4.7.0

Improvements

  • The Data Studio pipeline fits your screen. On desktop the pipeline fits with no page scrolling, each card scrolling its own list; on phones the app is no longer cut off at the bottom.

Agent

  • Change what a results table computes, from chat. Ask Claude, Gemini or another assistant to change a results table's instructions and it is rebuilt once with exactly the list you gave; a blank instruction is refused.

Fixes

  • Every table shows where it stands. In the Data Studio pipeline each table names its status on hover: ready, being built, failed, outdated, or last update failed with the reason and the date of the data you still see.
  • Outdated results counted in the Results card. The Data Studio Results card lists and counts every outdated result, including those whose last refresh needs review.
  • Refreshing one results table rebuilds it. Asking an assistant to refresh a single results table now rebuilds it, instead of reporting that the refresh started and building nothing.

v4.6.0

Changes

  • Features outside your plan are shown, locked. Incremental refresh, custom schedules and the member invite form stay visible but disabled, naming the plan that includes them with a link to Billing.

Fixes

  • Data Studio lists every results table. Data Studio shows all of the project's results tables, including the ones other results are built on, which could be left out before.
  • Discovered relationships in the overview. The Data Studio overview counts the relationships Teramot found between your tables, so a spreadsheet or a file no longer shows 0 after joins were found.

v2.3.1 – v4.5.0

Action needed

  • The monthly report downloads as a PDF. You can download the monthly report as a PDF that says exactly what the emailed report says, with pages that break cleanly. v4.2.0
  • Extra seats are billed monthly. Past the seats your plan includes, an owner can add one for USD 10 a month while that person is a member; a seat nobody uses comes off the next invoice. v4.2.0
  • The old single dashboard tool is gone. Scripts or saved conversations that still call the old dashboard tool by name need updating to the six dashboard tools that replaced it. v4.0.0
  • Columns in the order your query asked for. Grids, previews and dashboards now show the same column order the query produced; if you read these table endpoints directly, rows come back in a new format — see the migration notes. v3.0.0
  • Dashboards save as HTML instead of SVG. The SVG dashboard type is gone, so save those designs as HTML instead: inline SVG still renders the same way and the result looks identical. v2.3.1

Improvements

  • Lineage tab in Data Studio. A results table now shows where it came from: the tables as they arrived from your sources, the cleaned tables built from them and the result, with a count at each step. v4.3.0
  • Safety limits for a table's incremental load. The Incremental tab shows the limits a table's load is held to, and you can retune them when a refresh was refused. An empty field keeps the default. v4.1.0
  • Your workspace context, on the Knowledge page. A second tab on the Knowledge page holds the context you gave during setup, so a workspace admin can read, edit, replace or delete it later. v4.1.0
  • Project overview in your assistant. With Teramot connected to Claude, Gemini or another assistant, listing your projects now shows each one's tables and their health, data sources and newest refresh. v4.0.0
  • Diagnostics for raw or processed data. The diagnostic covers every source in the project one layer at a time, raw or processed, says when each was last measured, and filters results by data source. v3.14.0
  • A guided setup when you create an account. A new account starts with a full-screen setup for your company's workspace and sector and a first project, instead of ones named for you; you can leave it and do this later. v3.13.0
  • MongoDB over a private connection. MongoDB sources can reach a database that is not open to the internet in host and port mode, and the connection form now has a TLS toggle. v3.12.0
  • Certificate authentication for MongoDB. A MongoDB source can authenticate with a client certificate and verify the server against your own CA; paste or upload each one, and a mistake is refused on save naming the field to fix. v3.12.0
  • See when a MongoDB certificate expires. Editing a MongoDB connection shows each stored certificate by subject and expiry date, and warns you when a client certificate is within 30 days of lapsing. v3.12.0
  • AI Usage. Admins can see what the workspace spends on AI over the last 7, 30 or 90 days or a range you pick — by person and by day, with a CSV export. v3.9.0
  • Reload a moving date window instead of merging. A table whose recent rows change can re-read a rolling date window on every refresh and replace exactly that window, leaving older rows alone, with no merge key needed. v3.7.0
  • A shared conversation has its own page. Anyone with access opens a shared conversation as a read-only transcript and can continue it in their own workspace; anyone else sees a placeholder instead. v3.7.0
  • Download a results table as CSV. A results table can be downloaded as CSV from the Creation Details tab in Data Studio and from the agent's results table cards. v3.6.0
  • The download page says what you are downloading. The confirmation page for a private download now names the data it is about to send you, and Teramot's shared pages show the logo above the card. v3.6.0
  • Re-generate a report from its page. Owners and admins get a control on the monthly report to build it again, which asks to confirm first and says so when the report cannot be rebuilt. v3.4.0
  • Long questions no longer time out. The agent keeps working on a question for as long as it takes, and leaving the conversation and coming back picks up the same turn where it was. v3.3.0
  • The Member role is now called Analyst. Invites, the role comparison, dashboard visibility and invitation emails all say Analyst, and the role now reaches Data sources in the sidebar. v3.3.0
  • Incremental settings, one row per table. A source's Incremental tab now gives each table its own collapsible row, and tells you inline when a table cannot name itself as its header table. v3.2.0
  • Two projects can share different tables with each other. Sharing data into a project that already shares data with you is allowed now, as long as the two shares carry different tables. v2.4.0
  • OneDrive tells you when an admin has to approve. If connecting OneDrive needs administrator consent, Teramot says so and gives you the link that approves it for the whole organization. v2.4.0
  • Deleting a table shows the dashboards it takes with it. Before you confirm deleting a results table in Data Studio, Teramot names how many dashboards depend on it and which ones they are. v2.4.0
  • A dashboard that fails to load says why. When a dashboard cannot load, it tells you if its results table was deleted, and otherwise shows the underlying error next to the plain explanation. v2.4.0
  • You are told when dependent dashboards are left behind. Deleting a results table now reports it when its dependent dashboards could not be removed too, instead of showing a plain success message. v2.4.0
  • Deleting a table from the agent asks first. The agent's table card opens a confirmation that names the dashboards it will delete along with the table, and then tells you how it went. v2.4.0
  • Leave a workspace or a project. The three-dot menu on a workspace or project card now has Leave, with one confirmation that tells you if you are the last person there or need to hand over ownership first. v2.3.1
  • What's New sits in the corner now. A megaphone in the header shows each release's highlights in a small panel, keeps the full history behind it, and no longer takes over the screen. v2.3.1

Agent

  • Longer answers from the agent. The agent has far more room to write in a single reply, so long tables and detailed explanations no longer stop halfway through. v2.7.0
  • The agent names dashboards before deleting a table. When you ask the agent to delete a results table, its confirmation lists the dashboards that will be deleted along with it. v2.4.0
  • The agent warns when dashboards were left behind. After the agent deletes a results table, a dependent dashboard that could not be removed is called out as its own warning instead of buried in the result. v2.4.0

Performance

  • Fast sources no longer wait for slow ones. A scheduled refresh now refreshes each data source on its own, so a quick source publishes its tables minutes after the schedule fires instead of hours later. v3.2.0

Changes

  • Data Studio opens on your data pipeline. Data Studio now opens on your pipeline of sources, processed tables and results; click any table to open it full width with its details, preview, SQL and schema. v4.5.0
  • Lineage is back in Creation Details. A results table's lineage is a graph again under Creation Details, showing the source, the input tables and the table itself, with every input shown the same way. v4.5.0
  • New plans: Free, Starter, Growth and Custom. Growth includes 25 seats, unlimited dashboards and unlimited results tables; plans that used to read as Enterprise are now Growth. v4.2.0
  • Dashboards depend on your plan. Free and Starter include one dashboard per workspace and every plan above has no limit; dashboards you already saved are never affected. v4.2.0
  • One Free workspace per person. A person can belong to just one workspace on the Free plan, so creating or being invited to a second one asks you to upgrade it or start it on a paid plan. v4.2.0
  • Refresh options depend on your plan. Free and Starter refresh tables in full, Growth adds incremental refresh and Custom adds your own schedule; what is already running keeps running. v4.2.0
  • Unlimited results tables on paid plans. Paid plans no longer cap results tables; Free keeps its 5, and a workspace that reaches the safe limit is pointed at Teramot support instead of an upgrade. v4.2.0
  • A safe limit of 500 results tables. Every paid plan shares one safe limit of 500 results tables per workspace; Free keeps its 5 and older plans keep the limits they were sold with. v4.2.0
  • Included seats and the seat ceiling. Your plan shows both the seats its price covers — 10 on Starter, 25 on Growth — and the most it can reach; Teramot staff never take up a seat. v4.2.0
  • Inviting past your included seats. An invitation beyond the seats your plan includes asks the owner to accept the billed seat, and the billing card shows included seats and extra ones. v4.2.0
  • A separate opt-in for the BI digest. A workspace can switch the BI digest on and name its recipients, and each person also has to consent — being on the list is not enough on its own. v3.8.0
  • A monthly BI digest of your confirmed controls. Once a month the digest mails the value of each confirmed control and how it moved, the three largest movements, and what could not be measured and why. v3.8.0
  • The monthly report now arrives by email. On the 1st, the report for the month that ended is mailed to the recipients listed in your workspace, in its language, with the facts document underneath. v3.8.0
  • One start note when nothing is watched yet. A workspace with no controls gets a single note explaining what a control is and how an answer becomes one — once, and nothing more until it has controls. v3.8.0
  • BI digest switches in the report settings. An owner or admin can switch the BI digest on and type its recipients, and each person gets their own consent checkbox next to their delivery switch. v3.8.0
  • Analysts can bring in their own data. Creating, publishing and deleting data sources and uploading files no longer needs an admin, though editing a connection's saved credentials still does. v3.3.0
  • Every agent conversation has its own link. Reloading or bookmarking a conversation reopens that same one; the link works in the workspace and project where it was opened. v3.3.0
  • Email the day a tracked question turns broken. If your workspace turned it on, everyone who receives the monthly report is emailed the same day a question goes from green to broken, with the cause and its numbers. v2.6.0
  • Monthly report settings for your workspace. Workspace settings now cover the monthly report: its language, who receives it, and an optional alert when a control breaks. v2.5.0

Security

  • Unsubscribe from report emails in one click. Every report email carries a link that stops the monthly report and its alerts for that address, with no need to sign in or change a setting. v3.3.0
  • Replacing a file source's data is admin-only. Replacing the data behind a file source and dropping an orphaned table now require an admin, as the app always showed they did. v3.3.0
  • GitHub Copilot signs in from a remote workspace. Connecting Teramot to Copilot's agent mode now works from a Codespace, dev container or Remote-SSH window, not just a local VS Code one. v3.2.0
  • Broken dashboards are cleaned up automatically. A dashboard whose results tables have all been deleted is now removed on its own, instead of staying in your list and failing to open. v2.4.0
Fixes 50
  • Regenerating a table's query keeps its instructions. When you ask an assistant to rewrite a results table's query, the instructions you set on that table are kept instead of dropped. v4.5.0
  • A failed refresh no longer looks successful. A results table whose last refresh failed is marked red with the reason and the date its data is from, and the agent calls it stale. v4.4.0
  • A clearer error when you cannot start a conversation. Starting a conversation in a workspace you are not a member of names the missing membership and who can add you, instead of asking you to try again. v4.4.0
  • Workspace links open the workspace they name. A link that names a workspace opens that workspace on a fresh page load, instead of landing on the last one you had open or on the workspace picker. v4.4.0
  • Data Studio on your phone. Data Studio opens on a phone instead of a blank page: the table list and the table you picked take turns on screen, and a Tables bar goes back to the list. v4.3.0
  • Large sources and tables delete cleanly. Deleting a big data source or results table no longer fails when its cleanup takes more than 30 seconds. v4.2.0
  • Partial data warning on dashboards. A dashboard whose query returns more rows than it keeps now shows a Partial data warning, so a total that could be short is not read as complete. v4.2.0
  • Filter placeholders now in Spanish. The breadcrumb switchers and filterable selects show their filter placeholder in Spanish when the app is in Spanish. v4.2.0
  • The Incremental tab stays put while it loads. The Incremental tab no longer disappears while it is still loading, and shows an error with a retry if it cannot load at all. v4.1.0
  • Clearer dates in the SAP table filter. A date written with separators is caught before the load runs, and a rolling date on a full-load table warns that it would drop that table's history. v4.1.0
  • SAP message server asks for the SID up front. A SAP message-server connection cannot be saved without a SID or R/3 name, so it no longer fails later for a field that was missing. v4.1.0
  • A rejected change no longer looks applied. When a change to a data source is rejected while the save is still being recorded, you see the rejection instead of a source that looks edited. v4.1.0
  • Edit configuration, not Retry, on a rejected source. A source that was rejected offers Edit configuration instead of Retry, and opening its configuration no longer rescans its tables: neither changed what was rejected. v4.1.0
  • The moving date window is back for databases and BigQuery. Database and BigQuery sources offer the moving date window on the Incremental tab again, together with the tables that were hidden along with it. v4.1.0
  • A source names every table that failed. A source's list of failed tables now also covers tables whose raw data failed to load, says which copy failed, and shows the reason when there is one. v4.1.0
  • Confirmation messages no longer disturb the page. A confirmation message that appears as the page changes, such as on creating a workspace or a project during setup, no longer shifts the screen or hides behind it. v4.1.0
  • Back to the dashboard you came from. Opening the agent from a shared dashboard and switching back brings you to that dashboard again, instead of landing in Data Studio. v4.0.0
  • Every workspace and project in the list. Your assistant now lists all of your workspaces and projects instead of only the first 20, so the ones further down can be found by name again. v4.0.0
  • Before and after says which layer is missing. When there is no comparison yet, the tab names the layer that has not been measured and offers to measure it, instead of the same dead end for every state. v3.14.0
  • Results table names without the project id. Data Studio shows results tables, copies included, under their own name, with the project id no longer stuck on the end. v3.14.0
  • A source Teramot cannot sync now says why. When a source's configuration is refused, it shows as failed with the reason instead of looking saved or stuck syncing, until you publish it again. v3.13.0
  • MongoDB sources save and start correctly. A MongoDB source created from the source form now reaches ingestion, and discovery runs with the database and user you configured. v3.12.0
  • Saving a source while it runs keeps your changes. Saving a source's configuration during a run now tells you the run is in progress and keeps your changes; saving again once it finishes applies them. v3.12.0
  • A heavy query gets an answer, not a timeout. When a query is too heavy to run in the chat, your assistant now says so and suggests building it as a results table, which answers instantly once built. v3.12.0
  • A workspace's first control can be created. The first control set up in a workspace is no longer rejected — it registers with monitoring the first time, like every control after it. v3.9.0
  • Oversized files are refused before they upload. A source file above the size limit (250 MB by default) is rejected as soon as you pick it, instead of uploading in full and failing later when Teramot tries to read it. v3.9.0
  • Controls can be confirmed again. Confirming a control works: Teramot now takes who you are from your session, instead of refusing the confirmation because it could not name you. v3.9.0
  • A source delete that fails now tells you. If a data source cannot be torn down, it stays in Teramot and the delete reports an error you can retry, instead of leaving the screen while it keeps ingesting. v3.9.0
  • Failed file uploads are clearer and recoverable. A batch over 250 MB is rejected before anything uploads, the error shows above the file list with a code you can send to support, and the same files can be retried. v3.9.0
  • Shared conversations continue where they live. Continuing a shared conversation now lands in that conversation's own workspace and project, so there is no picker — just one click to confirm. v3.7.1
  • Oracle sources can name the owner of their tables. An Oracle connection now asks for the user that owns the tables you read, so a read-only account that reaches them through grants no longer shows up as a source with no tables. v3.7.0
  • Re-uploading a file after its source was replaced. Uploading a file again after its data source was replaced now processes it, instead of reporting success and leaving nothing behind. v3.6.0
  • Column filters work on large tables. In Data Studio, filtering a column of a large table now returns only the rows that match, instead of showing the filter applied while the rows stay unfiltered. v3.6.0
  • An answer that stops early says which way it ended. When an answer fails, or you navigate away while it is being written, the agent now closes the thread with a short note saying which of the two happened. v3.6.0
  • Oracle sources ask for a service name. The Oracle connection form now calls its main field "Service name", shows what one looks like, and explains when the Oracle SID is used instead. v3.5.0
  • A refused source change now shows an error. When a source's configuration is refused, the source reports the error instead of looking healthy while taking in nothing new. v3.3.0
  • Your message stays in the thread. If a turn is cancelled or times out, the message you sent stays in the conversation instead of disappearing, and the agent sees it on the next turn. v3.2.0
  • A source that was not accepted stops spinning. A new source that never comes back as ready now reads as not accepted after 15 minutes, with a prompt to review its table configuration and publish it again. v3.2.0
  • The Data and Quality tabs of a source work again. They read the right table now, and tell you whether a table is not built yet or still finishing its build instead of one generic error. v3.0.0
  • Row counts are back when you query from an assistant. Tables you pull through Claude, Gemini or another assistant show their row count again, and the agent knows when there are more rows to fetch. v3.0.0
  • A source keeps its columns in a stable order. Columns and tables of a data source stay in the order the source declares them instead of being reshuffled each time Teramot looks at it. v3.0.0
  • An empty message no longer clears a chat. Sending a blank message to the agent is refused instead of wiping the conversation, and chats left broken by it open and continue normally again. v2.6.0
  • The agent stays in the workspace you are in. In chat the agent no longer asks which workspace to use, and it now reports a query's full row count instead of only the 20-row preview. v2.6.0
  • Dashboard previews render again. An unsaved dashboard draft that names a results table by its readable name now shows its preview instead of loading forever. v2.5.0
  • An expired session signs out instead of hanging. When a session can no longer be renewed, Teramot signs you out instead of leaving the tab retrying against a credential the API refuses. v2.5.0
  • A clearer message when your session expires. A tool call from Claude, Gemini or another assistant that fails because your session expired now asks you to sign in again instead of blaming permissions. v2.5.0
  • OneDrive connects when your admin already approved. Creating a OneDrive source works in organizations where consent is granted by an administrator, instead of dead-ending on "Need admin approval". v2.4.0
  • The agent's delete confirmation is fully translated. The confirmation for deleting a results table from the agent reads in your language throughout, instead of a translated title over an English sentence. v2.4.0
  • Projects that share data with you are listed again. A project that shares data into the one you are in appears in Compartir Datos again, with a hint when it already shares data your way. v2.4.0
  • Data Studio lineage shows input tables only. The lineage panel is back to listing a results table's input tables; the source stages and the sideways scrolling are gone, so long names truncate again. v2.4.0
Under the hood 4
  • Queries linked to the conversation behind them. Every query the agent runs is now recorded against the conversation whose question caused it, so monitoring lines each run up with the right conversation. v3.7.0
  • Creating a control now works. Turning an answered question into a control succeeds instead of failing, and the control is pinned to the answer it will be compared against each month. v3.6.0
  • Manage your controls from a chat assistant. With Teramot connected to Claude, Gemini or another assistant, you can list, add, confirm and remove controls without leaving the conversation. v3.6.0
  • Rebuild a month's report. Owners and admins can ask for one month to be generated again, and if that fails the report you already had stays exactly as it was. v3.4.0
